The kit is designed by Capristo for use with Capristo exhaust valves or on systems (OEM included) equipped with pressure vacuum ports. The kit controls exhaust back pressure to optimize engine torque across different operating conditions. High performance engines typically benefit from low back pressure at high throttle and high RPM, while increased back pressure at low throttle and low RPM can improve low end torque. Back pressure is regulated by butterfly valves in the exhaust system. The control unit allows users to set valve opening and closing points within defined safety limits monitoring exhaust back pressure during operation and opens the valves when the preset pressure is reached. User has the ability to choose OEM or Capristo control as default without the need to select modes upon every start.
